Connect through Frankfurt, Europe's premier aviation hub, offering efficiency, innovation, and a gateway to the continent.
About the city
Frankfurt is Germany's financial capital and its busiest crossroads, which makes it an unusually efficient place to arrive. The skyline is unlike anywhere else in the country, but the reconstructed Römerberg square, the Goethe House and the museum embankment along the Main are all within walking distance of it.
The airport is one of the largest in Europe and connects onward to essentially the whole continent — by air and, directly from the terminal, by high-speed rail. Cologne, the Rhine valley and its castles, and the vineyards of the Rheingau are all short journeys away.
