Training programmes in aircraft and avionics maintenance
Turkmenistan Airlines has opened applications for two technical training programmes: Technical operation of aircraft and engines, and Technical operation of aviation and radio-electronic equipment of aircraft.
What the work involves. Aircraft maintenance is what keeps a fleet flying safely and on schedule. Engineers on these programmes learn to inspect, service and certify airframes, engines and the electronic systems that support navigation, communication and flight control. Every aircraft in the fleet is maintained to international standards, and the people who do that work are trained specialists.
The fleet you would work on. Turkmenistan Airlines operates an all-Boeing passenger fleet — the 737-700 and 737-800 on regional services, the 777-200LR and 777-300ER on long-haul routes — supported by Airbus A330-200P2F and Ilyushin Il-76 freighters. In 2023 the airline became the first operator in Central Asia to fly the A330-200P2F.
How to apply. Entry requirements, programme duration and application details are available from the airline's human resources department.
These programmes run alongside the airline's pilot selection for study at the University of the Turkish Aeronautical Association.
