Applications open for pilot training in Türkiye

Paýlaş

Turkmenistan Airlines is selecting candidates for undergraduate study at the University of the Turkish Aeronautical Association, on the pilot programme.

Why this matters. Turkmenistan Airlines has flown the flag of Turkmenistan since 1992, and today operates a fleet of twenty-five aircraft to fourteen international destinations and seven airports inside the country. Sustaining that network depends on a steady supply of trained flight crew, and the airline invests directly in bringing new pilots through.

Study takes place in Türkiye, at an institution specialising in aviation, with the airline supporting selected candidates through the programme. Graduates join a fleet of modern Boeing aircraft — the 737-700 and 737-800 on regional and domestic routes, and the 777-200LR and 777-300ER on long-haul services to Europe and Asia.

Who can apply. The selection is open to applicants who meet the airline's entry requirements. Candidates should be prepared for a competitive process covering academic results, medical fitness and language ability.

How to apply. Entry criteria, deadlines, required documents and contact details are available from the airline's human resources department. Applicants are encouraged to make contact early, as the selection runs to a fixed timetable.

This programme sits alongside the airline's engineering training routes in aircraft and avionics maintenance, forming part of a wider effort to develop aviation specialists for the national carrier.
